Bischoff makes his way down to the ring. He has a translator, and he says that he is one of the most powerful people in wrestling. He then announces the card for this evening.

  • HBK vs. Flair
  • HHH vs. Edge for the Title
  • Jericho vs. Benoit in a Submission Match

    Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho – Submission Match
    JR mentions that Benoit and Jericho first wrestled each other in Japan. Jericho gets in the ring and goes nose to nose. Back and forth to start, Jericho goes for a suplex, and drops Benoit over the ropes. Benoit on the apron, and Jericho goes for a springboard dropkick, but Benoit shoves him over the ropes. Both then climb the turnbuckle on the outside, and they go slug for slug, but then Benoit hits a headbutt, and both fall to the floor.

    Commercials.

    We come back and Benoit is all over Jericho. Jericho’s eye is busted open from the headbutt before the break. Benoit hits a German Suplex, and goes for a second, but Jericho reverses it into a weird submission, but Benoit flips Jericho over, and hits 2 more Germans, and goes for a third, but Jericho flips through, and locks on a ½ crab. Benoit reverses it, and goes for a Sharpshooter, but it is botched, and Benoit ends up giving Jericho a Trifecta of Germans. Benoit hits a top rope headbutt, then goes for a Crossface, but Jericho gets out of it quickly, and lays out Benoit. Jericho goes for the Lionsault, Benoit puts his knees up, but Jericho lands on his feet on the other side of Benoit, and grabs his legs, and goes for a Walls. Benoit blocks it, and Jericho turns him around slingshots him into the turnbuckle. Jericho then comes off the ropes, goes to clothesline Benoit, and Benoit blocks it and locks on a Crossface. Jericho gets out of it, but Benoit locks on a modified version of the Crossface for the Submission.
    Winner – Benoit

    HHH and Flair getting ready for their matches. Flair says that the idea of Batista going to SD so Evolution could rule both rosters is a great idea.

    Christian and Tomko with a reporter. The Reporter wants to know where to interview Randy Orton. Christian says that this is all he needs to know about Orton. A) He isn’t a Legend Killer because he hasn’t beaten Christian. B) He does this a lot (he poses like Orton). C) He is one headshot away from a coma. Stacy comes in a tells the reporter D) Orton can totally kick Christian’s butt. Christian then tells Stacy to have Orton meet him in the ring.

    Commercials.

    Maven is in the ring, talking trash, saying that if he was in the Royal Rumble, he would have tossed out Batista. Batista’s music hits.

    Maven vs. Batista
    Maven jumps Batista while he is posing. Maven off the ropes, Batista with a huge Spinebuster. Batista then nails the Demon Bomb.
    Winner – Batista

    After the match, footage of Big Show shows up on the tron. Big Show says that Batista is a big fish in the small RAW pond, and if Batista decides to jump, he will meet a 7 foot tall Great White Shark.

    Commercials.

    Batista walking around backstage, and he runs into Bischoff. Batista says that he is pissed off, and Bischoff says that he will get to the bottom of it, and pleads with him to stay with RAW.

    La Resistance vs. William Regal & Tajiri – World Tag Team Titles
    Crowd is hot over Tajiri. Regal and Tajiri light up to start, but La Rez starts to pick apart Regal. Grenier is holding Regal back from getting to Tajiri, but Regal gets around Greiner, and locks on the STF!! Regal gets the hot tag, and Tajiri nails the back springboard elbow on both of La Rez. Tajiri hits the Tarantula on Greiner, but Conway slugs Tajiri’s back. Regal takes out Conway, and Tajiri hits the green mist on Greiner, then the big kick for the pin!

    Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels
    Tie-up goes the corner, and Flair hits a cheap shot, then starts chopping away. HBK turns the table and chops away on Flair. Flair stumbles out of the corner, and HBK back body drops him. Flair rolls outside, and HBK follows, and chops Flair along the guard rails, then Flair stumbles back to HBK, and another back body drop, this time on the floor. Back in the ring, they go slug for slug, and Flair comes off the ropes, and nails a chop block. Flair then locks on the Figure 4. HBK’s shoulders go down a few times, but he is able to reverse it. Flair lets go. They go back and forth, and Flair tries for another Figure 4, but HBK rolls through for 2. Back up, HBK tries a back slide for 2. Flair goes to the top, but shockingly, it doesn’t work, and HBK pulls him down. HBK then hits a top rope elbow drop. HBK tunes up the band, and nails Sweet Chin Music for the pin.
    Winner – HBK

    WWE Rewind: KANE using the door against Snitsky last week.

    King in the ring, we are going to have an American Fashion Show. Maria comes out as a Cowgirl. Victoria comes out as a Biker Chick. Christy then comes out in a bikini. Simon Dean comes out and bad mouths the Japanese girls, then calls all 3 girls fat. King then confronts him, and they go back and forth, then Christy comes behind Dean and crotches him.

    Commercials.

    HHH & Flair run their idea past Batista. Batista says that he will think about it. HHH then says that they have to concentrate on Edge tonight, because if Edge gets the title, none of this matters.

    Edge with Coach. Edge whines some more that, even though he is getting his title shot, he is still being overlooked. Tonight will be his night.

    Recap of the week in Japan.

    Randy Orton vs. Tyson Tomko
    Orton is all over Tomko to start, but then Christian comes out, pulling Stacy along with him. This distracts Orton, and Tomko is working on Orton’s head, with JR and King selling the concussions. Orton starts fighting back, hits a European Uppercut, then the C+. Orton slugs away on Tomko, but he starts getting a bit dizzy. Orton with a big standing dropkick, and he wants an RKO, but he just falls back into the turnbuckle. Tomko sends him into the other turnbuckle, and charges, but Orton leapfrogs him, sort of (can’t really describe what he did), and rolls up Tomko for the pin.
    Winner – Orton

    Christian jumps Orton from behind, and works on Orton’s head. Christian nails an Unprettier. I am just begging for a Conchairto, but it doesn’t happen.

    Triple H (c) (w/ Ric Flair) vs. Edge – World Championship
    Back and forth with lots of mat wrestling. Edge with a Northern Lights, but HHH bridges out of it, and back slides for 2. Edge with a scissors lock on HHH’s head, but HHH shoves his way out, and clocks Edge. HHH then runs Edge’s shoulder into the ring post a few times.

    Commercials.

    During the break, Edge took over, with a suplex on the floor. HHH fires back, with a single arm DDT. Both men up slowly, and they go toe to toe, with Edge getting the upperhand. Edge nails a top rope missile dropkick for 2. Edge off the ropes, and HHH with a large Spinebuster for 2. HHH goes for a scoop slam, but Edge slides through and nails the Edge-o-matic for 2. Edge goes for a Spear, but HHH gets up and gets the knee to face. Both men glazed over, and Edge is up first, and locks on the Edgeucation. HHH gets to the ropes, Edge won’t let go, but he lifts up HHH and slams him on the mat. Edge goes for a Spear, but HHH dodges it, and Edge hits the ref. Edge gets a chair, but HHH grabs Edge and nails a back suplex. Both men start crawling to the chair that Edge dropped, and Batista comes out and pulls the chair out of the ring. Edge wants it back, but HHH shoves Edge out of the ring, on Batista. Edge then back in, nails the Edgeacution DDT, then lines up for a Spear, only to have Batista come in, and nail a huge Spinebuster. HHH nails the Pedigree for the win.
    Winner – HHH

    Batista gets HHH up, and gives him his title, and raises HHH’s hand. Batista then stares at the World Title for a bit, and HHH notices it, and stares at Batista back.

    Show Over.
