Navi and Dina argue about the fate of Behrooz.
CTU and Edgar working on shutting down the reactors. 6 are immune.
Marianne tells mystery man where Bauer is.
Almeida shows up to save the day.

Driscoll and Curtis talk about if there is any way to shut down the last 6 reactors. The National Guard is working on evacuating the 6 cities near the reactors that are not under CTU’s control.
Secretary Heller talks tells to the President about the situation.
He tells him that the estimates put the casualty rate 402,000 deaths immediately and long range in the low millions.
Heller says we have to find the override device and that the president will order evacuation of those 6 cities.
Jack is in car with Almeida. He calls Heller and tells him not tell anyone that it is him that is calling. He tells Heller about the attempt on his and Audrey’s life. Jack suspects CTU has a leak. He tells Heller that he doesn’t want anyone to know where he is.
Audrey is upset and crying. Tony takes them back to his place. Jack thanks Tony. It turns out that Tony has been released from federal prison thanks to Jack. Jack tells Tony what has been going on all day.
CTU watches the President address the nation. He tells the public about the 6 power plants and the evacuation. Curtis mentions there isn’t enough time for an evacuation, at least 50,000 will die in each city.
Niva and one of his co-horts are trying to find Dina. Marwan tells Navi the Americans have taken back control of all off the plants except 6. Navi promises to kill his wife and son by the end of the day.
Behrooz and Dina are in their car. Behrooz wants to go to hospital, Dina refuses but then she agrees to be dropped off at emergency room.

Marianne sneaks off into lady’s room. She checks to make sure no one is there. She makes a call to the mystery guy. He tells her that Jack and Audrey survived the attack. She wants to get out of CTU because she knows Bauer would have figured out there is a breach in CTU. He tells her to stay. Sarah comes in and orders Marianne to get back to work.
A guy from the Secret Service comes in and talks to Heller. Heller tells SS guy, who may actually be a Department of Defence guy, about possible breach. He wants the guy to tell Heller that Jack and Audrey are at an old CTU substation. Heller tells guy to put monitor all transmissions coming from CTU as a way of flushing out the mole.

Commercial time. Well it looks like Marianne is going down and fast!

Tony arrives at his place. The three enter a modest bungalow. Jack goes to check out all the rooms, a girl comes out. Tony tells him it’s ok. It’s his girlfriend Jenn. She recognizes Audrey and asks Tony what is going on. She wants to leave to go to work. Tony tells her that she can’t leave until Jack and Audrey leave. Audrey convinces Jenn to stay.
Jack and Audrey discuss the whole Tony and Michelle situation and how they broke up.
Jack starts to get on Tony’s computer.
Over at CTU the department of defence guy tells Driscoll what Heller asked him too tell her about Jack’s location.

Driscoll briefs CTU about Jack’s situation. The DOD guy tells them Jack asked his whereabouts be kept strictly internal.
Marianne leaves the meeting and speaks into a device that looks like a blackberry and gives Jack’s location.
Jack and Audrey are looking at the images from the security firm. Audrey spots the guy. Jack makes a call to DOD in Washington and he sends them the info about the guy.
DOD guy tells Heller that they have identified the person sending out the transmission. Heller goes and tells Driscoll about the breach and the sting operation. They go over to arrest the person in question.

There are cops and the SS guys move into CTU and close in on Marianne but it’s a red herring. They move past her straight to Sarah. Driscoll tells Sarah she is under arrest. They take her to holding are. Curtis looks on suspiciously.

Well it was pretty obvious that Marianne would have set up somebody to take the fall for her.

The DOD guy tells Edgar, Marianne and Curtis to get Sarah’s files and send them to him. Edgar asks guy why he is so sure Sarah is the guilty one. Marianne says Sarah is fool. Edgar thinks it’s suspicious that the info was so easily found.
Driscoll goes to interrogate Sarah. Sarah tells her that she was set up. Driscoll keeps asking questions that Sarah has no idea how to answer. Sarah keeps trying to defend herself but doesn’t know what to say.
Some guy comes in and starts to torture Sarah with a stun gun. Sarah is crying and gets zapped again. She keeps insisting that she is not the spy.

Driscoll leaves and tells Heller she is concerned. She knows she can break Sarah but she is worried Sarah isn’t the one. Heller goes to call Jack. Sarah is screaming in the background.
Jack is still on Tony’s computer. Tony brings out some beer for him and Audrey. Jack gets a call and finds out that Heller has found the mole. He tells Bauer where he is. Heller is gonna send secret service to pick up Audrey.
Tony is watching soccer in Spanish.

Jack asks Tony why he didn’t call him when he got out of jail. Jack says that he could have helped him.
Tony “I am considered a traitor to this country, my wife left me, so how are you gonna help me Jack?”
Tony tells him that all Jack does is remind him of a past he wants to forget.

Commerical time. Oh Almeida you are living the high life. Getting drunk and watching soccer. Oh wait…

Dina is in a hospital. The doctor is looking at her wound and asks what happened. She lies. He says it looks like a gunshot wound. The doctor leaves the room and Behrooz goes to watch him. The doctor is talking to a nurse. Behrooz wants to get the police involved. He is scared and does not know what they can do now. Dina says that she can arrange for the two of them to get out of the country.
Back at Tony’s Jack finds out that the mystery guy is a defence contractor who was working for the company who made the override. His name is Henry Powell. He is in Van Nuys right now. He has special clearance to fly and is scheduled to take over very soon.
The Secret Service show up to take Audrey back to CTU. Audrey gets in car.
Jack talks to Erin. Jack is going to go airport and try to go after Powell himself. Tony offers his help. Jack accepts, they both leave.

Edgar goes over to talk to Curtis to ask about what they are doing to Sarah. Marianne asks what Edgar wanted, Curtis sends her away.
Doctor starts to work on Dina’s arm. Behrooz sees a cop show up. He leaves to go look. Behrooz comes back in and tells his mom the cops are here. They both leave the hospital. Dina is not in good shape. Behrooz starts the car and drives away.
A squad of cops come out and see where the car is headed.

Edgar goes over to talk to Marianne. He tells her that he has got her the bump up in security clearance she request. What a coy boy.
He goes back to his computer and types in her user name and gets her password which she just typed in her computer to get the security clearance.
Marianne gets suspicious and goes over to him. Edgar sees that she sent the original transmission. Marianne tells him that she wants to speak to him in private but he refuses. She threatens to tell Driscoll about his involvement with Chloe.

Edgar tells Curtis to escort him to the boardroom.
Edgar goes in boardroom and tells Driscoll and DOD guy that it was Marianne who sent the message.
She is on the run.
Curtis orders building to be locked down. They chase her. She gets out of the building before the doors close.
She is in the parking lot. Curtis grabs her before she can get in the car. A CTU guy puts her key in the car to check what is in the car. The car explodes. Curtis and Marianne are blown back. Marianne looks unconscious or possibly dead. She hit her head on another car.
Meanwhile Powell is trying to get in helicopter but pilot tells him that there is an order grounding them. Powell pulls out a gun and the pilot obliges with Powell’s demand to take off.
Jack is driving and he sees the airfield. He drives straight onto the heli pad.
Jack and Tony flank the helicopter. Tony orders them not to take off. While Powell is focused on Tony Jack opens the other door has a gun on Powell’s head. Jack drags Powell out and arrests him.
Audrey arrives at CTU and is hugged by Heller.
They stop interrogation of Sarah.
The map at CTU shows level critical at the six nuclear power plants.
Almeida comes back with bag from the helicopter. Powell offers Almeida money. Some guy shoots Powell. It’s a sniper. Tony and Jack take cover. Tony tells Jack that Powell is dead.

Wow that last 10 minutes was pretty amazing and fast paced. For a second I thought Audrey was gonna get kidnapped again when the secret service guys showed up I assumed they were gonna be bad guys.
I am glad Almeida is back in action. I fear though that he will be killed off. I just hope he has a glorious death.
I am annoyed that Powell was killed. That just seems ridiculous that some sniper was just waiting there in case something went wrong. If these terrorist were this great at planning for all contingencies then they should be running the government because they sure know how to run a tight ship.
