InsidePulse’s WWE RAW Report 2.14.05

Archive

PK’s busy, so I’ll be covering up for him. First off, I want to apologize for not having a SD! report, as I was having computer problems. PK will be doing it this week.

I would also like to say that I recently finished the RVD DVD, and think it’s worth picking up. Admitedly, I don’t really like anything before RVD/Bigelow, but that, his matches with Lynn, his match with Hardy, & his match with Christian make the buy worthwile.

Now on to RAW…

Will it be a Valentine’s Day Massacre when Raw comes to you live, from Cincinnati, OH tonight? A few matches have already been signed for tonight’s show, and all signs are pointing to a night of mayhem.

Last week, Batista helped cost Edge the victory in his World Heavyweight Championship match against Triple H. After waiting so long to finally get his shot, Edge is furious that he was “screwed” once again in his quest for the gold. He has revenge on his mind and will be looking to take down Batista tonight.

Randy Orton was able to pick up a hard-fought win over Tyson Tomko last week in Japan, but after the match, he was brutally attacked by Captain Charisma himself, Christian, who punished Orton with the Unprettier. Orton looked as if he might have been concussed again last week, but he will also be looking for revenge tonight, as he takes on Christian in one-on-one action.

La Resistance is none too happy that they lost their World Tag Team Championships to William Regal & Tajiri last week in Tajiri’s native Japan, so they are invoking their rematch clause tonight in hopes that the outcome will be different now that the Japanese Buzzsaw doesn’t have home-field advantage.

Plus, another member of the Class of 2005 Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced. You won’t want to miss this much-anticipated announcement!

LIVE from Cincinnati, Ohio
Hosts are Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross

We start off with the Highlight Reel. Y2J introduces the star of the GoDaddy.com commercial, Candice Michelle. They show the commercial, and Candice doesn’t see what the big fuss is about, since Cincinnati wouldn’t mind seeing her do some dance moves or having a wordrobe malfunction. She exposes her shoulders, but before she can go any further, Hassan interrupts. He threatens to embarass Y2J, and calls him the poster boy of stupidity. Jericho calls them the poster boys of jackasses, and questions if they have penises. Jericho accuses them of being each others Valentine, but Hassan won’t have it. Chris says that he’s willing to take the two assclowns down to China Town, right now.
