Because of the push WWE has in store for John Cena, Vince McMahon wants to push his into mainstream media. Cena’s rap CD was supposed to come out in January, but was pushed back to May by Sony, over problems with some of the songs. Cena has over 70 songs written, and 17 tracks on the album right now. McMahon has made this a priority to get the CD out on time, and put Kevin Dunn in charge it.
They also want Cena to play the lead in an upcoming Predator movie, as WWE wants to portray Cena as a hot Hollywood prospect heading into WrestleMania. They think making Cena a crossover star will solidify him as a main eventer in the fans eyes.
