WWE let Barry Werner go last week. He was the Publisher for their family of magazines. Werner comes from a strong publishing background after working for the New York Daily News. It appears this may be only a money issue, since Werner was reportedly paid very well. Shane McMahon will now be overseeing Werner’s duties with everyone in the Magazine/New Media department reporting straight to him, in one form or another.
