Recently released TNA star Frankie Kazarian is in Philadelphia, PA and will be attending tonight’s Smackdown taping. Kazarian was supposed to also have a match last night, but flight issues prevented him from arriving in time for Raw.
There is also a rumor that Ring of Honor champion Austin Aries will be at tonight’s Smackdown taping. He may be doing a dark match or maybe even on camera work. Either way, he will at least be getting looked at by WWE management. Ring of Honor recently teased Aries working for WWE tonight with an angle where Mick Foley said he was going to call WWE writer Bryan Gerwitz on Aries’ behalf after the two took down Samoa Joe.
Also, former WCW Hardcore champion Big Vito had a dark match last night defeating Kevin Matthews.
