Kim Basinger, most recently seen in Cellular, is Producer Joel Silver’s first-choice to play Wonder Woman in the forthcoming pic, according to The New York Post.
Silver wants Basinger to play a more mature Wonder Woman. If the studio ultimately doesn’t go for his aged-superheroine idea, he’s also interested in Blade: Trinity hottie Jessica Biel.
“Kim would be used if Wonder Woman is older, Jessica is if she’s younger,” an insider tells.
The paper also states that Joss Whedon is in talks to write the film. No mention of him directing though.
