Rey Mysterio & Eddie Guerrero(cs) vs. Bashams Brothers – WWE Tag Team Championship match
Eddie and Danny start us off, as the crowd chants “Eddie.” Rey quickly gets tagged in, and gets a hurricanrana for 2. Eddie back in, and he goes after the leg. Eddie gets a back suplex for 2. Bashams do a double team 2nd rope spinebuster, which gets 2 thanks to Rey.

We’re back with with Danny missing a top rope leg drop, and Eddie getting a neckbreaker. Danny gets an inverted DDT for 2. Doug in, but he misses a charge in the corner. Doug gets back in control, and tags in Danny. Danny gets a powerslam for 2. Double team elbow drop gets 2 for Doug. Eddie eventually comes back with a dropkick to the chest to Danny. Doug and Rey both come in at the smae time, but Rey gets the best offenses. Both faces do the 10 punches, and Rey gets a springboard moonsault for 2. Doug gets a face first powerbomb. Eddie comes in and trie to go for the triple verticals, but Doug stops the 3rd one, only to get in the 619 position. 619 accidently hits Eddie though. Back suplex, and a headbutt gets 2 for the Bashams. Rey comes back with the 619, Eddie hits the Frog Splash, and Rey drops the dime to retain the titles.

Backstage, the chicks are getting ready, when Orlando walks in and invites them to JBL’s celebration.

Kurt Angle vs. Matt Motel
Beforhand, Matt asks how it felt losing his match at NWO. Angle responds with a clothesline. Angle gets a german for 2, voluntarily. Belly to belly gets 2, voluntarily. Angle Slam gets 2, voluntarily. Ankle Lock and it’s over.
Afterwards, Tazz asks Kurt about his challenge from HBK. Kurt slams the mic down and walks off, which I guess is a no.
Outside, the guests arrive for the celebration of JBL.

Backstage, Heidenrich is writing. Josh comes up and asks about his DQ in his match at NWO. John replies with a poem.

We go to the ring, which is filled with women and frends of JBL, as well as butlers.
Meanwhile, JBL is having trouble getting on his shirt with all the pain he’s going through. He says that nothing will stop him from getting what he deserves.
At WWE Studios, LINDA MCMAHON arrives.

We’re back and it’s time for the Celebration of Excellence. Orlando personally introduces JBL, who makes sure to kiss all the ladies on his way to the ring. They have the red carpet out by the way. Jordan says it fitting they’re here in Phili, since it lacks class and champions. Jordan says they have a musical tribute, and some woman sings some opera style stuff. Fans chant “Cena.” Jordan then reveals a painting, which apparently needs to be hanged next to the Mona Lisa. JBL then rags on the Philadelphia sports teams, and says the people can live through him. He brags on for a while, and is about to party when he is interrupted by…The Big Show. He destroys the set and goes to Chokeslam John, but the Bashams stop it. They gain up on Show until Cena runs out and takes care of everybody. He smashes the portrait over JBL’s head, and punches him out. Long comes out, and says he still makes all the decision around here, and makes JBL/Jordan vs Show/Cena for tonight.

Chavo Guerrero(c) vs. Funaki – WWE Cruiserweight Championship match
Chavo jumps on him to start, and gets 2 off some beatings. Funaki fights out of a wristlock, and gets a snapmare and a backdrop. Funaki gets a bulldog for 2. Funaki goes for a tornado DDT, but Chavo pushes him off. Funaki catches Chavo’s legs and gets him in standing headscissors position, but Chavo goes down to his feet and gets the Gory Bomb.
Afterwards, Paul London attacks Chavo. Chavo/London at Mania?

Mark Jindrak & Luther Reigns vs. The Undertaker
Reigns volunteers for Jindrak to go first. Taker brings it to him, and Reigns won’t tag in. Big Boot, but Mark comes back with a powerslam, which gets 2. Taker puts on a triangle choke, which makes Mark tap.
Afterwards, Reigns and Jindrak argue, which results in some brawling. Jindrak/Reigns at Mania?

Long comes out to the ring, ready for his sentence from Linda McMahon. Carlito comes out, and says that he’s been waiting for this day for a very long time. Linda comes up on the tiantron, and says they plan to retain Long as the GM. Crowd even chants “Teddy.” Long grabs CCC’s apple and tells Carlito that he has no idea what he has got in store for him. Carlito/Long at Mania?

United States Champion John Cena & Big Show vs. WWE Champion JBL & Orlando Jordan
We take a break right away and come back with Show chopping Jordan. Show/Jordan at Mania? Show taughts with JBL tagging Jordan, and brings in Cena. Cena explodes on Jordan, only to get tripped up by JBL. He gets dropkicked out, and eats stairs. Back in, it’s JBL/Cena in the ring. JBL beats on Cena, as the crowd chants “Cena.” Jordan comes in, and clotheslines Cena for 2. The heels tru to double team Cena, but Show comes in and settles that. Cena gets the FU on Jordan, as well as the 5 Knuckle Shuffle for 3.
