Ted DiBiase is returning to WWE on a trial basis in a position as a road agent. Ricky Steamboat was recently brought into the company in a similar manner. A few months ago, DiBiase commented during an interview that he would like to get involved with training and helping younger WWE talent learn the art of telling a story inside the ring, something he feels had been looked over by the current generation of wrestlers.
Ted DiBiase also recently told Wrestlemag.com that he will be on the Smackdown creative team as a consultant during this test run with WWE. He told the website, “I am returning to the company and I’m doing so to help in a creative role for the SmackDown show and as an agent to help the young talent. It’s on a trial basis to see if it works in with what I’m already doing and to see if I fit for them. It’s going to keep me very busy for a while, that’s for sure.”
