NBC has found the winning formula for Saturday nights as its three “Law and Order” episodes beat the competition once again.
Overall, NBC averaged a 5.8 rating/11 share, with FOX a close second with a 5.1/9. CBS was third with a 3.9/7, leaving ABC behind at 3.3/6.
At 8 p.m., FOX started in first at 5.0/10 for back-to-back episodes of “COPS.” NBC was second with the 4.7/7 for “Law & Order”. ABC’s movie, “Minority Report,” was in third with a 3.5/6 for the hour, better than “Cold Case” on CBS.
NBC made its move at 9 p.m. with a 5.7/10 for “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” FOX slipped to second with a 5.2/9 for “America’s Most Wanted.” CBS was third with 4.0/7 for “Without a Trace,” while ABC remained fourth with the movie.
NBC solidified its lead at 10 with “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” drawing the night’s best ratings with a 6.9/13. CBS’ “48 Hours Mystery” had a 4.8/9 to hold off ABC’s movie for the hour.
