Parker Posey in Superman; Three More for The Fog

Parker Posey (Blade: Trinity) has joined the cast of Bryan Singer’s Superman film. She will play Kitty Koslowski, villainous henchwoman under Lex Luthor.

Posey joins Brandon Routh (Clark Kent/Superman), Kate Bosworth (Lois Lane), Kevin Spacey (Lex Luthor), Hugh Laurie (Perry White), Sam Huntington (Jimmy Olsen), and Kal Penn, who will play a character on Luthor’s team, and James Marsden, who will play a relative to Perry White and a close friend to Lois Lane.

Selma Blair, DeRay Davis and Rade Serbedzija will join Tom Welling and Maggie Grace in the remake to John Carpenter’s horror film, The Fog, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rupert Wainwright will be directing off a screenplay by Cooper Layne, who will be rewriting Carpenter’s original script from 1980. The film is set on the coast of a Northern California town where a ship sank years ago amidst a thick, dense fog. The ghosts of the doomed ship then begin terrorizing the residents when the fog returns 100 years later.
