Kurt Angle was recently named to the NCAA 75th anniversary wrestling team. The team was announced as a part of the NCAA wrestling championships that are taking place currently. A panel of collegiate wrestling experts compiled a list of 45 former wrestlers in three divisions, lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight to be nominated for the 75th Anniversary Team. The vote was then put to the fans online and the top 5 vote getters from each division were named to the 15 member team. Angle, a two-time NCAA Champion, was named as one of the top five heavyweights of all time.
