Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer is reporting that after impressing WWE management with his performance on Tuesday against Kurt Angle, WWE has signed Marty Jannetty to a contract. Current plans or for him to be on the same brand as Shawn Michaels, which at the moment is RAW.
Also from the Observer, Vince McMahon will be returning to his backstage role at TV tapings this week, for the first time since his quad injuries. In his absense, Stephanie McMahon, Hunter, J.R. and others have been stepping up to run the shows.
