“American Idol” judge Paula Abdul, known for making the best of a bad situation on the show, might want to keep that attitude rolling in her personal life.
Los Angeles prosecutors are considering filing criminal charges against the singer after she allegedly fled the scene of an accident last December on a California highway.
According to the AP, charges may result from a Dec. 20 incident on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley. Frank Mateljan, city attorney’s office spokesman, says that after an improper lane change led to Abdul side-swiping another car.
Abdul allegedly failed to stop and exchange information with the other driver. The driver quickly took a shot of the fleeing car with a cell phone. The car was then traced back to Abdul.
