[WWE] Injury Updates on Shannon Moore, Orton, Chavo

Archive

On Saturday (3/19), driving home from the RAW show in Fayetteville, NC, where he met with friends including Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore got into a head-on collision with a US Army sergeant from Fort Bragg. Moore was hit while driving his hummer, and the sergeant was arrested for drunken driving. Matt Hardy was following Moore, and in fact, was ahead of him minutes before the accident. Should Hardy had been in the lead, his smaller car likely wouldn’t have protected him as Moore was. Moore will be out for an undisclosed time as he recovers from a concussion and some bumps and bruises, but nothing serious.

Chavo Guerrero Jr. has a fractured bone in his eye, and therefore has been unable to wrestle. He is not listed on upcoming event sheets for the next month, including Wrestlemania, which likely explains why Paul London has been refered to as a #1 contender with no set match date.

Randy Orton has suffered a shoulder injury, and is also off of the post Wrestlemania show lineups. No word on how much time he will miss, if any, after his match with The Undertaker.
