CBS took advantage of their rivals showing mostly reruns by airing new shows and winning the Monday ratings battle.

CBS averaged a 9.7 rating/15 share in primetime, destroying second-place FOX, 6.4/10. NBC was a close third at 6.2/10, while ABC, 4.6/7, was fourth. The WB’s 2.2/3 was enough for fifth, topping UPN’s 2.0/3.

“Still Standing,” 6.7/11, and “Listen Up,” 6.4/10, gave CBS the early lead at 8 p.m. FOX’s “Nanny 911,” was second at 6.0/9. A “Fear Factor” repeat, 5.2/8, was third for NBC, topping ABC’s “EM: Home Edition: How’d They Do That?” A rerun of “7th Heaven,” 2.5/4, was fifth for The WB while reruns of “One on One” and Cuts” were sixth for UPN.

At 9 p.m., a repeat of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” 10.0/15, and “Two and a Half Men,” 10.5/16, were enough to top FOX’s “24,” 6.7/10. NBC remained in third with a repeat of “Las Vegas,” while ABC similarly went with an “Extreme Makeover” repeat. UPN managed a 2.0/3 for “Girlfriends” and “Half and Half” repeats, beating “Summerland” on The WB.

“CSI: Miami,” 12.2/20, consolidated the win for CBS at 10 p.m. NBC’s “Medium,” 7.7/13, got its lowest ratings of the year. “Supernanny” managed a 5.5/9 for ABC.
