CBS won the Monday ratings battle on the strength of repeats, however NBC and FOX did quite well in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

CBS averaged an 8.4 rating/13 share for the night, topping NBC’s 7.3/11. FOX, 6.4/10, got the third spot, and ABC was fourth at 5.8/9. UPN’s 2.4/4 just beat The WB’s 2.1/3 for fifth.

NBC managed to win the 18-49 demographic, earning a 4.3 rating for the night. CBS and FOX were just behind at 4.2, while ABC came in at 3.6. UPN averaged 1.4 and The WB 1.2.

“Nanny 911,” 6.0/9, gave FOX the early lead at 8 p.m., although NBC’s “Fear Factor” (5.8/9) was just behind. ABC was third at 5.7/9 from “EM: Home Edition: How’d They Do That?,” while CBS was just behind with reruns of “Still Standing” and “Listen Up.” UPN averaged 2.3/4 with “One on One” and “Cuts,” topping a “7th Heaven” rerun on The WB.

CBS moved into the lead at 9 p.m. with the No. 1 fan-chosen episode of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” 9.8/14, and “Two and a Half Men,” 9.7/14. “Las Vegas,” 7.3/11, was well behind in second for NBC, while FOX slipped to third with “24,” 6.8/10. The debut of the “Bachelor” posted a 5.6/8 for ABC. UPN stayed in fifth with “Girlfriends” and “Half and Half.”

At 10 p.m., a “CSI: Miami” rerun scored a 9.8/16 for CBS, topping the 8.9/15 for NBC’s “Medium.” The second hour of “The Bachelor” improved modestly to 5.9/9.
