[RAW] Cable Deal, Randy Injured, Batista Post-Show Celebration

Archive

Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that his sources in the cable industry have confirmed WWE and USA Network have come to a deal to air RAW and WWE’s other cable shows. PWTorch.com’s Wade Keller is reporting that this deal may include TV specials on USA’s sister network NBC. This may be announced tomorrow.

Meltzer is also reporting that Randy Orton will be out at least four months, possibly six, with his rotator cuff injury. Possible storyline reasons for him to be out are another concussion following losing to Taker at Mania in a great match, but with a Tombstone Piledriver, or just going with the fact that he’s hurt his shoulder. We should find out more on RAW.

Batista celebrated his World Title win after the PPV went off the air, including going into the front row and hugging a man who Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com is identifying as Triple H’s father.
