Some WWE/USA notes included with the company’s SEC filing:
– The deal also includes at least one yearly, one hour special on the USA Network.
– WWE expects revenues of about $37 million from advertising sales for the fiscal year that ends on April 30, 2005, netting approximately $13 million. Since WWE will receive rights fees for their programming, and USA will sell all of the ad time, WWE will no longer sell the advertising and not receive that $13 million (or whatever the number ends up being) next year.
– NBC Universal will spend at least $8 million on a multi-platform ad campaign to promote the program launches.
– WWE will remain on Spike through the end of September, then start on USA, Telemundo and possibly on Mun2.
