– As reported by PWInsider.com’s Dave Scherer, the mood backstage at last night’s Wrestlemania PPV was said to be very good, “with the power people thinking they delivered a strong show.” Everything went how the company expected, except for a little concern about Cena’s crowd reaction.

– PWInsider.com is also reporting that there is a feeling in WWE that the USA was done or very close a month or more ago, with WWE wanting to save the announcement WrestleMania Monday. Spike of course scooped them by announcing pulling out of the deal earlier.

– PPV previews have already started showing for RAW’s Backlash with the main event being “Batista vs. HHH II” and for Judgment Day (John Cena vs. JBL in an “I Quit” Match).

– WWE has named Jim Brown as Director of Operations, WWE Enterprises, reporting to Tom Barreca, SVP/WWE Enterprises. His initial focus will be the rollout and provisioning of WWE 24/7, WWE’s new SVOD service.

– Curious about Vince McMahon’s whereabouts? Check out this picture of him, Stallone and Hogan from the Hall of Fame ceremony here.

– To follow up on a previous story, Doug is the Basham brother engaged to former WWE RAW Diva Gail Kim.
