April 8, 2005, Boca Raton, FL – Shortly after the announcement that a 10-minute animated preview was available for the as-yet-to-be released Assassination Entertainment comic series Zoom Suit, the 20-minute, feature length version of the film has been accepted into one of Florida’s most prestigious film festivals. The animated film will be aired as part of the Palm Beach Film Society’s third annual Voices of Local Film on April 18, 2005 at the Muvico Parisian 20 at CityPlace in West Palm Beach, Florida beginning at 7:00PM.

Written and directed by John Taddeo, the Zoom Suit synopsis describes the film this way: When an extraterrestrial suit ends up on Earth, it could mean a huge advancement for the U.S. military…if it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. The clothes make the man, or boy, in this futuristic animation.

“It’s an honor to have our work accepted by this organization into this festival,” said Jorge Palacios, Zoom Suit Director of Photography. “Considering that only one other animated film was accepted, this is a great honor. I’m really proud of the work that’s been done on Zoom Suit and I’m excited to see what an independent audience thinks of the work.”

The Voices of Local Film was created in 2002 by the Palm Beach Film Society and Palm Beach International Film Festival to spotlight Palm Beach County, Treasure Coast, Miami-Dade County and Broward County filmmakers’ short films, documentaries and music/performance videos in a competitive atmosphere. After the outstanding success at the first Voices competition, the event has become an annual tradition for local filmmakers at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.

For those that wish to attend the festival to check out Zoom Suit, tickets can be purchased by calling 561-833-2310 or by logging onto: www.muvico.com/PBIFF2005.htm.
