MNM debuted at the Smackdown tapings recently. It seems though, that the team almost didn’t make it. At one point, Matt Cappoteli was suggested by many agents to replace Joey Matthews on the team. Apparently, Tommy Dreamer, Dave Lagana, Paul Heyman and even Rey Mysterio pushed to keep them together, Mysterio siting that he was looking forward to working with the team. In the end, Vince McMahon himself decided to keep the team together along with manager, Melina.
