I have tracked down the information you have requested on the Amazing Fantasy files you have requested. Marvel’s latest weapon in the war on Terror (or at least DiDio) is Carmilla Black AKA Thanasee Rappaccini, Codename: Scorpion. Following the termination of the Mystique project, Marvel has quickly green light another super powered espionage agent and this one looks positively lethal.

I have received reliable information that Miss Black’s powers surfaced while she was attending her school’s homecoming dance. After running away from home, Black returned three years later upon learning of her step-parents death. Now she is being perused by AIM agents, and a Wakandan S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who wishes to recruit her.

Black possesses a glowy green arm who’s blasts are able to stun, knock unconscious, and even kill her victims. Detail on how this power exactly works are sketchy and I intend to find out more information as it becomes accessible to me. It appears that King’s mother is an international terrorist, and the fact that she has naturally green hair may be a clue to her true identity. Furthermore it appears the two are destined for a highly volatile family reunion.

Writer Fred Van Lente is not to be underestimated. He has a clever mind for espionage work and is pulling some clever strings with his agent’s dialog. He appears to have taken some nods from writer Christopher Priest and may be playing games with us. Artist Leonard Kirk proved himself to be a legitimate threat last year with Bloodhound, and while the art style on this book is a bit sleeker, less gritty the results are equally explosive. Fans of Mystique and similar genre books should take notice.

I am requesting authorization to continue monitoring Scorpion. I feel that backup may be necessary so I am asking for other N.E.X.U.S contacts to monitor this title. If possible, it may be in our organization’s best interest to make this information known to the public. The more readers this titles, has the better it may serve our organization’s cause.
