Various sites, including IGN FilmForce, are reporting that Vinnie Jones (Snatch, EuroTrip) is in talks to play an unnamed villain in X-Men 3.
Ain’t it Cool News has taken it a step further, claiming that the role he might be going after is none other than the role of Juggernaut.
Director Matthew Vaughn and Jones have worked together in the past, on the films Mean Machine, Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. So the idea of Jones being brought in is not that much of a stretch. X-Men 3 is still on track for a summer 2006 release. Famke Janssen and Hugh Jackman are confirmed to return, while Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Rebecca Romijn, and Anna Paquin are all expected to return as well.
