Nationals Win First Home Opener In 34 Years

The Washington Nationals brought baseball back to the nations capital last night, and they also brought back winning baseball. The Nationals, who are currently in first place in the National League East, defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-3 thanks to a strong evening at the plate from Vinny Castilla who had 3 hits and 4 RBIs. Livan Hernandez got the win and moves to 1-1, while Javier Vazquez dropped to 0-2 with the loss.
