CBS continued to dominate its Thursday’s competition in the ratings with ‘Survivor’ leading the way.

For the night, CBS averaged a 13.8 rating/22 share. NBC was way behind in second at 6.4/10, with FOX third at 3.7/6. UPN, 3.4/6, was a surprising fourth, while ABC limped to a pathetic 3.3/5 and fifth place. The WB came in at 2.0/3.

“Survivor: Palau” started the night for CBS with an 11.9/20. FOX was a distant second with “The O.C.,” 4.4/7. NBC managed only a 3.9/7 with repeats of “Joey” and “The Office,” but that was good enough to beat “WWE Smackdown!” on UPN. It doesn’t look good for “Jake in Progress,” which finished fifth for ABC. The WB posted a 2.1/3 with back-to-back episodes of “Blue Collar TV.”

At 9 p.m., “CSI” built on CBS’ lead with a 16.5/26. “The Apprentice,” 8.3/13, moved NBC into second. “Smackdown!,” 3.6/6, moved up to third, while FOX’s “Tru Calling,” 3.0/5, edged out ABC’s “Extreme Makeover” for fourth and fifth. The WB was lost with another hour of “Blue Collar TV.”

“Without a Trace” completed the sweep for CBS with a 13.0/21 at 10 p.m. An “ER” rerun drew a 7.1/12 for NBC, and “Primetime Live” averaged 4.0/7 for ABC.
