Law Loses Saturday Title to CBS

NBC had the highest-rated show on Saturday night, but it was still not enough to win the night. CBS was the best with a 5.2 rating/10 share for the night, followed by FOX, 4.3/8; NBC, 4.2/8 and ABC, 2.7/5.

CBS started things well at 8 p.m. with “The Price Is Right Million Dollr Spectacular,” 4.6/10. The usual two episodes of “Cops” managed a 3.9/6 for FOX, while the Wonderful World of Disney offered part four of “Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House on the Prairie” to ABC audiences. NBC came in last with “LAX,” 2.2/4.

“CSI” strengthened CBS’ lead at 9 p.m. with a 6.1/12. FOX remained in second with “America’s Most Wanted,” 2.2/4. NBC made the move to third with “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” 3.9/8, while ABC fell to fourth with the first hour of “Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams,” 2.3/5.

At 10 p.m., NBC had the best numbers of the night with “Law & Order,” 6.7/13, while CBS slipped to the No. 2 spot with “48 Hours Mystery,” 5.1/10. ABC finished off its movie and the evening in third.
