[WWE] Possible RAW Spoilers

Archive

– The Calgary Sun reported Saturday that WWE sources have said Hulk Hogan will be appearing on Raw Monday night from Madison Square Garden, and this report was confirmed by Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com, Dave Scherer at PWInsider.com and Joey Styles at 1wrestling.com. This will be Hogan’s first TV appearance on a wrestling show since he appeared at MSG as Mr. America in 2003.

– Also rumored to be at the event are Romeo Roselli and Antonio Thomas, OVW tag team known as The Heartbreakers, as well as OVW champion (and former Smackdown talent) Matt Morgan and former Tough Enough contestant, removed for lying about his age, Marty Wright. PWInsider.com is reporting that these talents will either be working prior to the show tapings or appearing on screen (it has yet to be determined). The Heartbreakers, like recent SD debuts MNM, have been getting great reactions at OVW and on the road, especially due to their ring entrance.

– The MSG show is both a RAW and Smackdown taping, with HHH vs. Jim Ross as the RAW main event and Booker T vs. Big Show as the SD main event.

– Most likely Smackdown will be taped prior to RAW, with tickets to the show having a 6:45 p.m. start time. There has been no word on whether or not Heat and/or Velocity matches will occur.

– Batista will be on the Ch. 11 Morning News at about 6:50 a.m. in NY, and on ESPN 2’s Cold Pizza at about 8:50 a.m., plus there was a story in today’s NY Post (here) that talks about Batista and Cena.

– On a house show line-up released by WWE, Booker T is listed as U.S. Champion. Take that for what it’s worth.

– Ditto reports that Marc Loyd spilled the beans about JBL/Cena in an “I Quit” match on either the Bottom Line or Afterburn syndicated show.
