Murtz Jaffer and Matt Romanada are back for another wild and wacky 24 recap. There may be a special guest or two joining us.

Its a full house tonight. Matt and Murtz have been joined by Rob Purchase and Mat Lecompte, with Russ Montgomery expected shortly.
Murtz: Here we go…

Rob: We know what happened previously.
Romo: And we have now wasted 2 minutes of valuable 24 time.
Rob: Marwan’s new nickname should be Lombardi (for the nuclear football). I also ask again what happened to Mitch Anderson.

Over at CTU Bill gives a briefing, they are trying to figure out how Anderson got control of the plane to take down Air Force One.
Jack calls CTU and they are trying to recreate what chapters of the red chapter Marwan has. Jack says they have the location of the nuclear arsenal.
Marwan gives coordinates to some brown guy on a computer. They are looking at missile in Jefferson City, Iowa that is in transit.
Almeida and Michelle talk about how to protect the missiles in transit. Michelle is about to tell Almeida she wants him but Chloe intervenes.
Chloe seems to have found some guy who is tied to Marwan. He is driving a Lexus.
Murtz: gotta love Lexus.
Jack is on a heli and talks to Audrey. She tells him 72% of the arms have been accounted for. she tells him there are problems in the mid-west because alot of missiles are in transit to get dismantled.
Rob: I hope she is involved in it.

Marwan gets a call from a brown guy. He is panicked and things he is gonna be caught. He realizes that he will be caught because he used the wrong credit card, its the guy in the Lexus. He says he is in Inglewood.
Murtz: Inglewood and up to no good.
The VP and his aide discuss what they should do.
Rob: That bald guy is super shady.

The VP and the aide make a move to a bunker under the white house that is 200 feet under the surface.
Bill from CTU calls the VP. Michelle and Tony are in on the confernce call. Michelle tells him that not all of the missile are secure. The VP does not seem to be handling things well.
Rob: Tony is not handling all of it.
Murtz: this has been a really slow start.
Mat: It sucks.
Murtz: Quick poll. hot or not starting with Romo.
Romo: I say hot because tony f*cked her. Russ you are next.
Tony is upset that the VP is such a pansy. He doesnt like how he is not acting confidently.
Russ: I find her not all that attractive.
Rob: Thumbs down,
Murtz: I will also go thumbs down.

Tony goes over to talk to Michelle he apologizes for getting mad at her for the whole Bill thing. He apologizes for the tension between them,
Murtz: Pussy.
Rob: its all play.
Romo: it so is, he is smooth.
Michelle gives Tony the up and down.
Edgar goes over to Bill
Murtz: He is walking for once.
Rob: that is the first time he has been on his feet for a very long time.
Bill is not sure Tony can stay focused with the conflict with Michelle.

Rob: not cool, not cool. Don’t mess with Almeida
Curtis is following the guy driving the lexus, who has stopped near a marina.
He calls CTU. Tony tells him the marina unit is ready.
Bill tells Curtis he wants the people alive.
Another guy approaches the Lexus guy. It looks like a private patrol.
But the lexus guy shakes his hand. The guy doesn’t move. He seems to spot something.
The Lexus guy is panicked, he sees harbour security.
Curtis tells CTU that the guy is not Marwan.

Curtis orders the marine units in.
The two dudes are on the boat now. The white guy is not upset, but the lexus driver is.
CTU move in. They announce they have them surrounded.
Marwan is on the phone and tells the lexus guy that he cant let himself be captured. The white guy shoots the lexus guy who Marwan had told him to shoot. The white guy comes out with his hands up. He claims self-defence for killing the brown guy, Josik(sp?)
The white guy says his name is Joe Prado. He says he is innocent.
Russ: you just committed murder.
Curtis calls into CTU and tells them what is up.

Marwan is upset, he wants to ensure Prado doesn’t talk. Marwan makes a call
Murtz: someone at CTU
He asks the guy on the phone to get a lawyer to help Prado.
The Vp makes an announcement about the President’s injury and the attack on AFO.
Audrey tells Bill that a convoy is missing. It was enroute to Jefferson City from Indiana.

Edgar has got the fingerprints of Prado.
Michelle tells CTU to put everything down in favour of finding the missing warhead.
Some bad dudes are taking what is probably the warhead away on a truck.

The aide walks into the VPs office. The VP is pissed off that a warhead is missing.
Romo: There is no way the VP is involved, its all the aide.
The aide tells the VP that the head of secret service is coming over.
Curtis comes in CTU with Prado.
Edgar is giving Prado the stink eye, Chloe assumes he wants to get revenge
Almeida tells Curtis that Prado has no record of work for the past 7 years.

Chloe tells Almeida she found the convoy, the crew is dead, the warhead is missing.
Michelle tells Curtis the Prado is an ex-marine, that he wont break easily.
Curtis gets ready for the torture.
Prado tells him that he refuses to talk to Curtis.
Curtis nods to the other guy in the room. He takes out some needles.
Bill tells Michelle to tell Curtis to stop. Curtis leaves the room and goes to talk to with Bill.

A bald guy comes in.
Romo: its Lex Luthor!
Rob: from Smallville.
It turns out he is the lawyer for Prado
Romo: its not the same guy from Smallville, he was on Sex and the City.

Rob: what the hell has Bauer been doing?
Break time.

Murtz: please give me some action.
Rob: where the F is Bauer, he literally has been stroking it for half and hour.
Edgar asks Bill why the interview is being put on hold. He is pissed and fights back to Bill.

Bauer comes back to CTU
Rob: There he is, he is off the shitter.
Chloe tells him about how Prado’s lawyered up and they can’t interrogate him. Bauer goes over to Jack and he is pissed.
Rob: Bill is in on it,
Romo: Ive been thinking that for a while.
Jack goes into the interrogation room. Jack and his lawyer are in the room. Curtis is also there. Jack is arguing with the lawyer. He asks to talk to the lawyer in private.
Russ: by speak I mean beat.

Jack tries to convince the lawyer how dangerous Prado is and how badly they need to interview him. The lawyer doesn’t back down.
Romo: he is gonna do it anyway.
Jack runs around and goes back in the room. Jack asks the lawyer who called him for Prado. Jack tells Bill that Marwan called him. He tells Bill to call the President now.

The VP and his crew talk about the missing warhead. He gets a call from CTU. He tells them all to leave other then the aide and some guy named Walt.
Bill tells the VP about Prado and the injunction against interviewing him. The aide, Mike Novak, steps in and knows basically that Jack wants to torture him.
Rob: Pistol Whip.
The VP asks Mike what he thinks. Mike thinks they need to do whatever they can to find Marwan.
Walt on the other hand is not sure about it, he thinks it will haunt his presidency.
Romo: his presidency is only going to last two minutes anyway.
The VP says he needs 20 minutes to decide. Jack insists they need a decision now. The VP says he will get back to him when he can.
Jack presses Bill to allow him to go after Prado
Rob: I love how Bauer wears the bulletproof vest.
Jack tells Bill to let Prado go, Bill realizes he will just go after him as a private citizen.

Murtz: this is by far the worst episode I have ever seen.
Romo: they are setting things up for the May sweeps.

A van stops outside a club and Marwan gets out. He gets on the phone with some guy and talks about how he gave someone the detonation codes.
Romo: Marwan is going for drink and a dance.
Audrey asks Jack for some help. Jack leaves without saying why.
Prado is wondering what is going on, why they are letting him go. The lawyer is not so worried. Prado tells CTU he doesn’t want to leave because he doesn’t trust them. Curtis says he will arrest him for trespassing.

Edgar is pissed they are letting Prado go.
The marshall, the lawyer and Prado leave together.
Murtz: Jack is in the car.
Jack shocks the Marshall and puts a gun the head of Prado.
Jack: “No we are gonna talk.”
Jack handcuffs him inside the truck and tells him he only wants Marwan. Jack breaks his thumb after he denies knowing Marwan.
Rob: that was better than the pistol whip.
Prado starts to talk and says something about a club. Jack pistol whips him and knocks himout.

Murtz: that was a shit episode.
Rob: they have to take some off.
Russ: I liked the torture.
Final Comments
Murtz: My final word is that was shit. Shittiest episode of the season.
Russ: My feelings on the episode are like Edgar “¦angry and greasy.
Rob: CTU’s greatest weapon became apparent tonight. However, they have yet to utilize, sweaty Edgar. Unleash Edgar in a room at 40 degrees Celsius, with some garlic, and any man can be brought to his knees.
Mat: I wasn’t even paying attention during the show. I was thinking about my 11-0 run in NHL 2003.
Romo: Not enough Almeida, he should have been helping Jack with the torture of Prado. I did like the appearance of the bald dude just because he makes me laugh. I hope the VP ends up crumbling under the pressure and kills himself.
