CBS Runs the Show on Monday

Monday brought few surprises, as CBS assumed its usual spot at the front of the pack.

CBS averaged a 9.8 rating/15 share in primetime, well ahead of second-place FOX’s 6.1/10. ABC, 5.3/8, just beating NBC, 5.1/8, for third in households, although NBC had a slight edge in total viewers. The WB was fifth at 2.8/4, and UPN was last with a 2.0/3.

“Still Standing” and “Listen Up” each posted a 6.0/10 to put CBS in the lead at 8 p.m. “Nanny 911,” 5.5/9, finished just behind in second for FOX. A rerun of “Fear Factor” on NBC was third, beating ABC’s “EM: Home Edition: How’d They Do That?,” 4.3/7. The WB landed fifth with a “7th Heaven” repeat. UPN managed a 1.9/3 with reruns of “One on One” and “Cuts.”

CBS strengthened its lead at 9 p.m. with “Everybody Loves Raymond,” 10.6/16, and “Two and a Half Men,” 10.6/16. FOX kept second with “24,” 6.8/10. “The Bachelor,” 5.5/8, moved ABC ahead of NBC, which scored a 5.3/8 from a “Las Vegas” repeat. “Everwood” moved The WB up with a 3.2/5. UPN went with repeats of “Girlfriends” and “Half and Half.”

“CSI: Miami,” 12.8/20, consolidated the win for CBS by beating its competition at 10 p.m. — ABC’s “Supernanny” (6.1/10) and a repeat of “Medium” (5.6/9) on NBC.
