Well there are only 5 hours left, what does the future hold in store for Jack, Tony and CTU?
First off before I want to thank two valued readers who emailed me about something we missed. Stephen Meyers (i know its a different spelling but I wonder if he is related to Nina Myers?) and M. J. Barry pointed out to me that CTU reported that one of the jet fighters escorting Air Force One shot down the Stealth our good friend Mitch Anderson was flying.
Thanks for the email guys. I am really sad though that Mitch’s death was so crappy.

Joe Prado is being treated for the beating he got from Jack.
Bill and Audrey discuss what happened to Prado. She asks if Jack did this, Bill told him that yes he did.
Jack and Curtis are preparing an assault team to get Marwan.
Audrey interrupts and bitches him out for beating up Prado.
Romo: I’m starting to hate Audrey even more.
Rob: She is turning.
Murtz: Audrey is totally in on it.
Curtis gives Audrey a look of disdain. He then tells Jack that he did the right thing with Prado.
Novak and The new President discuss what to do about Prado. The meeting is interrupted by a call from Bill. The Prez tells Novak he needs more time.
Rob: Booo-Urns!

Novak gets on the phone and Bill tells him that Prado gave up the information. Novak is upset, he assumes correctly that Bauer beat it out of him. Bill tells Novak to get the President to sign off on the excessive force and they can fudge the timelines.
Bill tells Novak that he is concerned about President Logan and how he is handling things.
Central Iowa
A bunch of guys unload the warhead from a truck.
Marwan gets a call from one of the guys in the truck while he is in a dance club.
Rob: What the hell is in doing in Club 54?
A guy starts working on the warhead. Another guy is pissed at him because he gets a phone call. Its his gf and he tells him that he has to take it that the girlfriend has been calling for a while. His name is Sameer.
Murtz: Sameer, that’s my cousins name!
The gf thinks something is up, she knows his politics.
Audrey and Bill keep arguing about what Jack did. Bill is backing Jack but Audrey.
Murtz: Almeida, come on

Rob: honestly!
Novak tells Logan that CTU has found Marwan’s location. The Prez asks if force was used and who did it. Novak tells him that Bauer did. Logan is pissed and tells Novak he wants Bauer arrested. Novak tells him to wait till they have Marwan in custody.
Logan calls secret service.
Novak calls Bill and tells him everything and how Logan is not going to leave thing alone. Novak tells him that Logan wants Jack arrested. Bill asks what is more important the presidents feelings or finding the nuclear bomb?
Novak tells him secret service is on its way to arrest Jack and tells him to warn Jack.

Some trucks roll out and CTU disembark near the club. Jack and Curtis get prepared to go in.
Murtz: They might get Marwan today.
Chloe gets a call from the woman who is Sameer’s girlfriend. Actually its Sabeer? They both went to Berkely for engineering. She tells Chloe she found something on his computer and fears he is involved in terrorist stuff.
She found a schematic for a microchip

Jack is outside the club and is looking around. He enters through the back. Its really dark.
Rob: Doesn’t anyone work at this place?
Curtis calls Jack but he is busy. Bill is on and tells him about secret service coming to arrest him.
Murtz: Those secret service guys are gonna f*ck him up
Jack is making his way through the back of the club.
Rob: Why is Jack in the club?
Romo: its because he needs to make a visual confirmation.
A shot of the club and patrons dancing. Marwan is shown in the back of the club. He starts to tape that he wants shown to the American public. He refuses to have his face covered, he wants America to know who he is.

Marwan starts to address the American public on the tape. He basically starts to rip them for following their government without question.
Murtz: not covering his face is hard core.
Jack has a video camera and says there are about 50 people in the club and spots 2 possible sentries.
Chloe looks up their faces on the computer. One of the guys is a known Marwan associate.
A CTU guy tells Jack Secret Services people have arrived.
Marwan continues his rant telling the American public attacks will continue if they do not stop their imperialistic practices.
Secret Service talks to Curtis about arresting Jack. Jack asks to talk to secret service and he tells them how important their mission is. The Secret Service guy refuses to hold off the arrest.
A CTU guy Castle heads out to replace Jack.

Someone in cab saw Castle, this is reported to one of the sentries.
Jack tells Curtis he has a visual on Marwan.
Marwan finds the camera and tells everyone to flee.
CTU moves in.
Marwan moves through the club. Jack enters the club just as Curtis comes in. They pull their guns.
Marwan is making his way through a secret tunnel.
Rob: Yeah secret tunnel.
Jack shot some guy. He tells Michelle that Marwan has escaped. Jack goes into the tunnel but notices a bomb. It explodes but Jack gets out. The tunnel is blocked though.
The secret service guy takes Jack into custody.
Jack tells the guy that he blew this mission. He says he was just following orders.

Romo: I am just following orders, you f#$#ing bitch.
Rob: Secret service is for shady people, CTU is where the action is.
Murtz: Indeed.

Curtis and CTU go over the backroom of the club to find some information.
Almeida finally starts to talk. Him and Michelle talk with Curtis about how to find Marwan.
Bill tells Logan that Marwan got away because of the Secret Service. He says that is not what he wanted to have happen. Bill tells him that his orders were explicit.

Novak looks at Logan with disdain. Logan denies that its his fault and blames Bauer. Novak disagrees and says if it wasn’t for Jack they wouldn’t have located Marwan. Novak asks Prez what he wants him to tell CTU. He says he has no idea. Logan finally admits that it is his fault. He says he doesn’t even know if he deserves to be called President.
He tells Novak he should resign for the good of the country.
Romo: Grow some balls.
He asks Mike what to do.
Murtz: Bring in the man.
Mike tells him that there is someone who can advise him. He can help him through this.

A news report talks about President Keeler’s crash. We are in David Palmer’s house and he gets a call from Novak.
Novak updates him on everything. He tells Palmer that Logan needs help and that he is asking Palmer to run the effort to find the nuclear weapon.
Murtz: How could you do that? You wait for your whole life to become President. If I was president every state of the union address would have a mention of Inside Pulse.

Jack is in the back of the car. The secret service guys let him go, Logan admitted he made a mistake. The SS guy apologizes.
Rob: Spit on him.
Jack is pissed, and vocalizes it to everyone.
At CTU Chloe and Edgar argue about what to do. Edgar wont let her into his system.
Chloe goes to Almeida who tells Edgar to let her use his computer.
The terrorists are on laptop programming stuff.

A guy calls Marwan who is now in a drainage tunnel. Marwan tells him that the timetable remains unchanged. He tells Marwan that Sabeer’s gf may be a leak.
Murtz: They are gonna kill the gf.
Rob: no doubt. What’s with all the white guys they recruited? Wicked!
Chloe tells Bill about the call from Sabeer’s gf and she found the microchip has something to do with the warhead. Bill orders Chloe to go to Sabeer’s gf house, she is in LA, to get the encrypted files from the computer. She is all nervous and looks at Tony for support.

Rob: The classic 24, the guy will come to kill the gf just when Chloe arrives.

Edgar is on the phone with Chloe who is on the way to Sabeer’s gfs house. They are discussing setting up things. Chloe is frantic. Edgar tells her he will make sure everything is covered. He tells her that he asked Bill if he could go instead but Bill said she was the best analyst they have.
Murtz: See ya later chloe.
Rob: ya she’s finished.
Romo: I hope she dies.
Chloe gets out of the car and enters the house. 2 CTU guys enter the house with her.
Romo: That is a fast trip, honestly is there a 5 min car trip in LA?
Chloe starts to look at the computer.
Murtz: Why do they have to do it from here?
Rob: Wouldn’t they just pack it up.
They hear a noise. Shooting begins. Chloe and the gf go into the laundry room. The white guys
Chloe calls Edgar and tells him they are being shot at. Edgar tells Jack about it.
Rob: Edgar is in on it, he f*cked her.
Chloe and the girl flee the house. They get in a car but cant find the keys.

Chloe calls again Jack tells her that
The guy shoots the car but the windows are bullet proof. He keeps shooting.
Jack tells her to look in the car for weapons.
The girl thinks he is leaving.
Rob: Tell me he is gonna blow up the car.
The guy is in his truck and drives at them and hits them. He is aiming at the gas tank.
Some random guy comes out of his house to find out what is going on. He is shot.
Murtz: Good Samaritan my ass.
Chloe comes out of the car with an M-16 and shoots the car and the guy seems to be hit.

Final Comments
Romo: I am annoyed that Almeida is put on the back burner so we can get more of Chloe and Edgar. Tony should get his own show where he runs a private security firm for rich people.
Rob: It is clear now that Edgar is not just a sweaty nuisance. He is working on the inside for Marwan. This will be Marwan’s fatal error as Edgar is sure to follow his stomach before his brain.
Murtz: A few weeks ago we discussed the prevalence of brown Edgar. It was a classic example of the brown man being blamed anytime the word terrorism is used. We need only to look at ourselves in any discussion of why our country is targeted. This was an episode of highs, lows and speeches. Marwan once again destroyed another brown stereotype when he delivered eloquent words of premium potency. Almeida Son!
