Tonight on Monday Night RAW from the United Kingdom, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Batista and much more…

Last week on Monday Night RAW, Christian told Mr. McMahon he would have no problem winning the WWE Championship if he were moved to SmackDown! during next month’s momentous Draft Lottery.

Well, Mr. McMahon told Christian he wouldn’t have to wait that long to face a champion, placing Captain Charisma in a match against World Heavyweight Championship Batista, live this week on RAW from the United Kingdom. Will Christian prove his main-event worth when he takes on The Animal? Or will Batista make Christian another victim of his recent success? Watch RAW tonight on Spike TV (9/8 CT) to find out.

Also this week on RAW, hear from WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan and his tag team partner for Backlash, Shawn Michaels. What will these two legends have in store for Muhammad Hassan and Daivari at Backlash? Watch RAW to learn more.

Viscera did a favor for Trish Stratus last week when he took out Kane. “I do something for you and then you do something for me,” Viscera said backstage afterwards. What exactly did Big Vis mean? Find out more on RAW when the Women’s Champion and Viscera go out on the town.

Plus, what could be the fallout after Jim Ross scored an improbable upset victory over Triple H last week thanks to some timely help from Batista? And what kind of shape will JR be in after the beating he took?

Also, don’t miss any final details regarding Backlash, which takes place live on pay-per-view on Sunday, May 1.

Watch RAW this Monday (9/8 CT) only on Spike TV.

LIVE from Birmingham, United Kingdown
Hosts are Jerry Lawler & Johnathan Coachman/Jim Ross

Batista comes out to the ring to a great response from the crowd. Dave seems to be stupified that he’s in England. Anyways, he says that he’s here to recognize a man that will put his body on the line for this business, and somebody who did something it took him 2 years to do – beat HHH. He introduces JR, black eye and all. Dave even tries on the cowboy hat. Batista puts JR over huge as an anouncer, and even a wrestler. Crowd chants “JR”, but HHH interrupts to a chant of his own, and it’s not of his name. Batista interrupts HHH’s yacking, saying that JR is the #1 contender, so it should be Dave vs JR at Backlash. Batista shows the footage of last week 2 more times, to really piss off Hunter. HHH indeed heads down to the ring, but stalls off the brawl and leaves. The crowd even chants goodbye to him. But, before he leaves, HHH promises that at Backlash, Batista’s ass is his.

Commercial break.

JR is back at the announce table once again, and Coach is gone. They show the Viscera/Kane footage from last week, and announce Kane vs Viscera at Backlash.

At some restaurant, Trish is waiting for Viscera. He shows up in a tux, and explains that he had to stop by the drug store to pick up some protection. The waiter shows them to their seats.

Chris Jericho(0-1) vs. Sylvain Grenier
Big pop for Y2J. “Y2J” chants, as Grenier attacks him to start, and gets a flapjack, and his own arrogant cover for 2. Y2J gets a roll-up for a quick near fall. Grenier gets a modified back suplex for 2. Y2J fights out of a resthold, and comes back with a roll-up for 1. He takes the advantage, and gets the bulldog, but Grenier dodges the Lionsault. Enzuigiri gets nothing, as Conway distracts the ref. Y2J takes care of him, but Grenier tries a back suplex. Y2J jumps out however, and hooks on the Wall of Jericho to make Grenier tap.

La Resistance look for a beatdown afterwards, but Benjamin makes the save. Y2J is ungrateful however, so Shelton hits him with the T-bone suplex.

Commercial break.

Back at the restaurant, Trish is busy looking at the menu. Viscera compliments on her hair, and Trish compliments on what he did to Kane. Funny stuff with a waiter asking what Trish would like, and her responding in a corny british accent. Viscera says that eating always gets him in the mood, to which Trish says that he must be the horniest guy on the planet.

Back at the arena, Tomko and Christian are getting pumped for CC’s big match. Flair comes in to verify the plan, but Christian tells Ric that HHH is going to do nothing, as tonight is Captain Charisma’s night.

Commercial break.

Chrsitan and Tomko come out, and the fans like ’em. Christian of course kills it with a Canadians-are-smarter-than-Brits comment. So, he talks extra slow. Christian says that it doesn’t matter if he stays on RAW or beats that Ali G rip-off, it’s going to be him carrying the torch, cause that’s how he rolls. Kane interrupts, but Christian runs out, leaving Tomko to get beatdown and Chokeslammed.

Backstage, Maria is with Lita. Lita promises that this Sunday, Kane will destroy Viscera, and Trish will get what she deserves.

Commercial break.

Backstage, Christian is seen knocking on Evo’s door. Ric answers, and Christian looks to be interested in the idea now. Ric tells him to hold on, and HHH emerges back. He’s hesitant, but eventually lets Christian in the locker room to talk business.

Chris Masters comes out for his Master Lock Challenge. Masters has 1000 pounds for any brit who can break the thing. Andy Baker answers the challenge, but has no luck.

Commerical break.

Backstage, Coach is with Shawn Michaels, and mentions that the two biggest egos have teamed up. Coach gives them 3 minutes before they clash. HBK ditches Coach, and introduces Hogan himself. Hogan then brings in Gene to do the interview. Hogan says that he heard the fans wishing for him come back and take care of Daivari & Hassan. He ends it with the classic, “What ‘ya Gonna Do?”

The divas comes out, minus the wrestlers. Christy says that they are here to party, and introduce the Daily Star Girls. Stacy says that the celebration is for William Regal, whose autobiography is coming out soon. Regal & Tajiri come out, to a rapid crowd response. Regal thanks everybody who made his publishing of the book possible, and tells them to hit the music. Hassan interrupts of course, and insults what’s going down. Muhammad isn’t surprised though, as the english have always followed the americans. Hassan goes on to say that he couldn’t think of a better way to shut up Michaels & Hogan, than to win the tag champs right now.

Commercial break.

William Regal(1-0) & Tajiri(1-0)(cs) vs. Muhammad Hassan & Khosrow Daivari(1-0)
We pick it up with Regal taking it to both men. He dumps both of them, to a loving response fromt he crowd. Crowd chants “Regal”, and the faces gets some double team work on Daivari. Standing moonsault gets 2 for Tajiri. Hassan comes in, and so does Regal. Some cheating on the behalf of the heels allows Hassan to get the upperhand. Daivari comes in, and gets a cover for 2. Hassan comes back in with a neckbreaker for 2. Regal fights back, but Diaviari gets tagged back in. HE gets a neckbreaker for 2. Hassan comes in, and the two cllide. Daivari gets tagged in, but Regal kicks him off, and Tajiri comes in to clean house. Cheap shot to the head on the behalf of Diaviari slows him down though, and Hassan gets the Modified STO. He goes out to deal with Regal, allowing Diavari to get a top rope legdrop for the win.

Regal tries to fight back afterwards, but he just gets beatdown instead.

Commercial break.

Edge(0-1) vs. Val Venis
Edge attacks him before he can even get in the ring. Edge gets a near fall out of a decapitater. Venis fights out of a chinlock, and comes back with half nelson slam to set up the Money Shot, but Edge gets his knees up. Edge goes for the Spear, but eats knee. He comes back with the Spear though.

Afterwards, Edge adds some salt to Val’s wounds with the Edgecution, the Sharpshooter, AND the Crippler Crossface. Benoit finally comes out and makes Edge eat 3 germans, only to have him run off.

Backstage, Evo & Christian give Coach a ref uniform. Apparently, tonight in the main event, it’s going to be Coach as the ref, Ric as the time keeper, and HHH as Christian’s “One Night Only” Problem Solver.

Commercial break.

Once again at the restaurant, Trish and Viscera are just now finishing dinner. Visc asks if Trish is ready, and Trish slaps him. Trish says that after Backlash, they can do whatever, but until Viscera does the deed, he ain’t getting nothing. Viscera would like a little advance for tonight, so he gets one, in the form of Trish’s exposed jugs. The camera man doesn’t get a good view though.

Coach and Christian make their entrance as we go to a:

Commercial break.

Christian(1-1) vs. World Heavyweight Champion Batista(1-0)
Christian uses the distraction as his opportunity to attack, but gets dumped early on. Batista catches Christian out of the air, and whips the hell out of him. Sideslam gets 2 for Dave. Batista gets a powerslam, but Coach has to tie his shoe. Dave gets in Coach’s face, allowing HHH to go low. Christian gets 2, as we go to a:

Commerical break.

We’re back with Christian having the advantage over Batista. Standing splash gets 2 for CC. 2nd rope dropkick gets 2. The heels continue their tactics, and Christian gets a neckbreaker for 2. Batista starts to come back, to quite an amount of boos. Christian goes for the Un-prettier, but Dave counters it to the Electric Chair for…2, cuz Coach’s wrist was hurt and all. Batista just goes crazy on everybody, and Batista Bombs Captain Charisma, using Coach’s unconscious hand to count.

HHH attacks afterwards, but Batista takes him down. Ric tries a chair, but Dave gets it for himself. He tries it on HHH, but gets kicked, and Pedigreed! HHH celebrates as the show ends.
