Bravo viewers will get to peek into the life of notorious singer Bobby Brown in June, one of six new series the cable network has planned for the summer.

“Being Bobby Brown,” scheduled to premiere June 30, will follow the life of the former star as he works on a comeback album. The show will also, according to Bravo, “allow fans and critics alike to see the real Bobby Brown — as a family man and husband, apart from the headline scandals and allegations that have plagued, and at times overshadowed, the successful musician’s career.”

Brown’s wife, pop star Whitney Houston, will also be on the show.

Among Bravo’s other new series this summer is “Situation: Comedy,” a show that tracks the creation of a sitcom; “Battle of the Network Reality Stars,” an update on the classic “Battle of the Network Stars”; and “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.”

Among Bravo’s development projects are “The Daily News,” a reality series that follows the reporters and editors of the New York City tabloid. It will follow journalists each week as they try to break stories.
