Koror – Night 27
Stephenie says she felt very uncomfortable back at camp, since she was almost just voted out until Janu quit.
Tom says that they were gonna change their vote to Janu anyway and gives Steph the immunity necklace, saying she earned it.
Gregg is upset they didn’t vote Steph out when they had the chance, and now she has influence.
Day 28.
Steph asks Katie if the original four alliance is done, and Katie says apparently so.
Steph goes to talk to Tom. Tom says he is trying to protect Steph but he can’t expose himself.
Tom says that Steph coming so close to getting voted out means she’s just that more dangerous. Tom also realizes he is now a threat.
Tom asks everyone to not penalize him for being such a strong competitor. His play saved the tribe at the challenges.
Tom goes swimming and the rest of the tribe mocks him for asking that.
Jenn thinks now may be the time to switch alliances.
Steph asks Jenn about all the women alliancing. Jenn says she would be open to it. Katie thinks it’s a good idea.
Steph points out that the three guys are a much bigger threat than her. But if they want to think she’s a threat she’ll show them how threatening she can be.
Tree mail has arriveth.
Eating and drinking is the game.
Tom thinks there will be a cash/food prize.
REWARD CHALLENGE
Everyone sits down and gets a wallet with $500 cash, real American. JP says they will auction for stuff.
First item. Jenn wins the bid for $120. She’s bought an ice cream sundae.
Next item. Caryn and Steph bid $260, split evenly. JP offers to let them trade what they bought for something else. They agree. They originally bought cheese and crackers, but have upgraded to cheeseburger and fries.
Next item. $300 to Ian, with $20 to Gregg for a bite. JP offers a trade, but Ian says no. The trade would have been for crabs. Instead, Ian has bought spaghetti and garlic bread.
Next item. Ice cold beer. First $40 gets it. Ian jumps all over it.
Next item. Letters from home. Tom wins it for $220. It’s a tracing of his son’s hand. JP offers the other letters to everyone for the same price. Most take the offer. Steph can’t read hers yet, she’s too emotional.
The auction is over. JP sends them back to camp.
Back at camp.
Steph got letters from like 12 people. They make her cry. She says they’re all the energy she needs.
Ian says, in honor of JP, who commented on his reeking odor, he is taking a bath. Gregg takes one as well, and scrubs Ian’s back.
Jenn mocks Ian and Gregg for their moment. Ian is comfortable with his sexuality. Ian asks Tom to check his neck and Tom refuses.
Day 29.
Tom and Caryn go to get water. Tom talks to Caryn and tries to bring her to his side. Tom offers to bring Caryn into the alliance.
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE
Tom gives up the necklace.
35 tiles. Coconut toss. First person whose tiles are all broken wins immunity.
Ian goes first. He breaks his own tile. Katie is next and breaks nothing. Gregg is next and breaks his tile. Jenn breaks one of Caryn’s tile. Caryn misses. Tom breaks one of Katie’s. Steph breaks Caryn’s tile. Caryn with 2. Ian breaks his tile, and now has 2. Katie breaks Jenn’s. Gregg breaks Ian’s tile. Jenn breaks Tom’s tile. Caryn breaks Katie’s tile. Tom breaks his own tile. Steph misses. Ian in the lead with 3. Ian breaks his tile and has 4. Katie breaks Jenn’s tile. Gregg gets his tile. Jenn breaks hers. Caryn breaks Steph’s tile. Tom breaks his own tile. Steph misses. Ian breaks Steph’s tile. Katie breaks her tile. Gregg breaks his tile. Jenn hits 3 tiles and none break. Caryn misses. Tom misses his tile and breaks Ian’s tile. Ian wins immunity!
Day 30.
Rain, rain, rain.
Tom thinks everyone is at his or her exploding point.
Katie takes Caryn snail digging. She asks Caryn if she wants to join the alliance of women. Caryn really has to think about it.
Caryn feels loyalty to Tom and tells him the women are allying against him. Tom asks why she’s telling him, and Caryn says she feels loyal to Tom. Tom is suspect of Caryn’s motives.
Tom tells Ian they’re plotting against the men. Ian thinks Caryn is trying to position herself into a better position.
Ian talks to Katie. Katie calls Caryn a liar. But she does tell Ian that it may be time to take out Tom.
Katie thinks she can get Ian on her side. Ian isn’t sure what to do. Caryn walks by and Ian and Katie walk away. Caryn realizes she may have screwed herself.
Gregg is adamant that it’s time for Steph to go.
Steph thinks if the other players are smart they’ll keep her and get rid of Tom.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
Coby and Janu come out. Janu looks HOT!!!
Ian says paranoia is beginning to creep in, but it’s still a solid group.
Steph says after last TC it really wasn’t uncomfortable, but whatever happens happens. She thinks it will be tough since they haven’t really had to scramble and backstab.
Caryn says the game got more intense after the last TC. If she’s gone, she won’t be too surprised.
Tom says doing so well at challenges was the last thing he meant to do, but he stepped up to help Koror.
Ian decides to keep immunity. Time to vote. Caryn is first. Tom. Ian. Jenn. Steph. Katie. Gregg. JP tallies the votes. Fist vote, Caryn. Steph. Steph. Steph. 12th person voted out, third member of the jury: Steph. Tribe has spoken, adios.
JP says the happy family is coming to an end, then sends them back to camp.
