'Supersize Me' Director Tries Another 30 Day Experiment

Once again, Morgan Spurlock personally involved himself in a “30 day” experiment for one of his documentaries. Only this time, the show will premiere on the FX network as opposed to theaters.

“30 Days,” in which people live a lifestyle they’ve never experienced before for a month, is set to premiere June 15. Episodes will follow a Christian who lives as a Muslim for 30 days and a conservative straight man who moves in with a gay roommate.

The debut episode will feature Spurlock attempted to live on minimum wage for a month.

Spurlock and his fiancee, Alexandra Jamieson, moved to Columbus, Ohio, after the Oscars to find minimum-wage jobs and try to live on what $5.15 an hour buys.

“I never realized how difficult it would be to live on minimum wage,” he says. “… I had no idea, and that’s the ultimate goal of this show: to put people and the audience in situations that force them to see the world through another’s eyes.”
