A number of TNA executives flew up to Chris Candido’s funeral yesterday via the Panda corporate jet including Bob and Dixie Carter.
On this past weeks show, TNA put the Candido graphic up with less than 12 hours before show time and pushed FSN to pick up the new feed. They sent a number of employees to the services for Chris and presented Tammy Sytch with one of the NWA Tag straps. TNA has also put up a series of memories of Chris on the site and they have promoted a Candido scholarship. Many people in the company were heart broken over the loss but they all handled it with class in order to show how much they cared about Chris.
Yesterday morning at 3:07 AM, AJ Styles and his wife Wendy, celebrated the birth of their first child. Ajay Kovell Jones was born 6 pounds, 12 ounces. He will be released from the hospital along with Wendy on Thursday. Our best to the Styles family.
Tito Ortiz will be appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show 5/4 to promote the TNA’s Hard Justice PPV. Tito Ortiz will be the special guest referee in the main event as AJ Styles takes on Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Championship.
TNA’s Production man, Dave Sahadi is putting together an “amazing and moving” video package on AJ Styles. He will be training for the NWA championship bout at Hard Justice and TNA stars will comment.
Sean Waltman won’t be returning to TNA unless they take care of back pay. Waltman has also stated that TNA management has not returned his phone calls.
Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles and Abyss will be appearing on Blue Collar TV 5/5 on the WB Network.
TNA is currently working on a Best of Jeff Hardy and the Destination X PPV DVDs.
