Second chapter of the Rogue War, and the action is non-stop! Seriously, I haven’t
read a comic with this much action in a looooooooong time. The best part? Geoff
Johns still manages to get a lot of dialogue, and internal monologue,
into these pages to advance the plot.

As you know from the title, the Flash’s rogues gallery are at war…the current
Rogues against "reformed" Rogues. Everyone has their own personal
agenda for the fight, but they have pooled their resources, and the result is
leaving absolute destruction in their wake. I don’t want to give anything away,
as usual, but there is some excellent character work in here–especially Heat
Wave (who is losing it) and the original Trickster (who is an angry, angry man).

The art, as always, is top notch…par for the course from my favourite art
team in comics. I sang their praises last time I reviewed the Flash, but let
me stress one member of the team especially. Livesay’s inks are awesome, always.
This book is always that much better when Livesay is the inker; everything seems
to "pop" more. So, kudos to you, Livesay, and to the rest of the art
team, for another job well done.

Pick this book up. Please. This is superheroics as it’s meant to be.
