ABC has pulled the plug on its private-eye drama “Eyes” for the remainder of May sweeps, a sign the show may have been aired for the final time.

The series, which stars Tim Daly (“Wings,” “The Fugitive”) as the head of a high-tech risk management/private investigation agency, was never planning a running a full slate of shows during May.

However, it was bumped Wednesday (May 4) for the “Primetime Live” special on “American Idol.” Now comes word that next week, ABC has slotted a one-time-only special “Supernanny” for the 10 p.m. ET Wednesday slot.

Despite a good amount of critical praise, “Eyes” has done little to attract an audience during tis five weeks on the air, managing only about 7.1 million viewers per week in its timeslot.

There’s no word yet on whether the network plans to air any of the remaining episodes; 13 have been filmed.
