– WrestlingObserver is reporting that TNA will be allowing its wrestlers to work the 6/12 ECW PPV show. No update on whether or not WWE has contacted them yet.
– Saturday night saw the return of Mick Foley to the ring at the Brian Hildebrand Memorial show in Johnson City, TN.
– ROH announced at tonight’s NYC event that they have signed Matt Hardy to wrestle on their July 16th event in New Haven, Connecticut. Hardy has also scheduled several non-wrestling appearances as he waits for his no compete clause to end.
– The World Wrestling Council (WWC) announced that Piper vs. Carlito will main event their May 20 Friday Madness show. Also rumored to be on the card: Dory Funk, Jr. vs. Carlito’s dad, Carlos Colon.
– Lucha Magazine has reported that Essa Rios (“Mr. Aguila”) is going back to WWE. Thiscomes on the heels of reports that Juvi, Psicosis and other lucha cruiserweights have been signed and/or pursued by WWE.
