Last issue, we joined Yorick, Dr. Mann, & Agent 355 onboard a ship. The story continues this issue, and it begins with Yorick walking in on Dr. Mann & 355 engaging in some HLA (hot lesbian action, for those of you who don’t watch wrestling). So, I guess you could say this issue starts with a bang!

A thousand apologies for that one.

The story continues, as spies are exposed, a submarine hunts down our heroes’ ship, and something is revealed at the end that casts everything from this storyline in a new light.

Y: The Last Man is always a joy to read, as is everything written by Vaughan. The character development through their dialogue is excellent, especially as Yorick laments his late friends, and Dr. Mann & 355 share their post-coital regrets. Plus, the patented Vaughan Cliffhanger leaves me salivating for the next issue!

The art is also very well done, as fill-in artist Goran Sudzuka does a great job mimicking the style of regular penciller and series co-creator Pia Guerra. Sometimes, fill-in art can be jarring to the story, but Sudzuka does a amazing job of fitting in. Props all around!
