[NCAA] Inquiry Yields Several Violations at Ohio State

The NCAA has completed their investigation into alleged improper activities involving student-athletes at Ohio State University. The school was informed that nine rules violations were found, including cash gifts and improper academic assistance.

Seven of the violations reportedly were against the Men’s Basketball program with the other two involving the Football program.

Ohio State must formally respond to the allegations by the end of July 2005.
