After the ‘Gilmore Girls” finale extended an extra 27 seconds over its alloted time, internet message boards went into overdrive this week with frustrated fans who missed the cliffhanger conclusion of Tuesday night’s “Gilmore” finale.
The move left fans who set their VCRs or digital records for the hour without the very end of the show. Those last moments — a scene between Lauren Graham’s Lorelai and Scott Patterson’s Luke — featured a twist that unfortunate fans may have missed.
According to a WB spokesperson, the network is aware of the problem and there have been discussions about rebroadcasting the episode, but a specific date and time has yet to be determined.
Roughly 5.9 million viewers tuned in for Tuesday’s “Gilmore Girls.”
