Donald Trump has sued a construction company he hired after it failed to carry out its job properly.

The Donald testified in a New York court on Monday, May 23 against the Columbus Construction Corporation for allegedly charging him large amounts for work on the Trump National Golf Club without actually doing the job.

“This is very simple case: I had a contractor that didn’t perform,” Trump tells Celebrity Justice. “I sued him and that’s the way it is.”

The suit says Trump hired Columbus to work on the golf club in Briarcliff Manor, paying more than $3 million by August 2001 only to discover less than half of the work completed.

Trump’s third season of “The Apprentice” ended Thursday, May 19, with Kendra Todd winning a job renovating a beachfront mansion.
