CBS Takes Monday's Ratings

The season finale of “CSI: Miami” helped CBS to an ratings win Monday night, but FOX’s “24” scored more viewers in the ad-friendly 18-49 demographic.

CBS averaged a 9.4 rating/15 share in primetime, beating FOX’s 7.2/11. NBC was a strong third at 6.8/11. ABC trailed badly in fourth, managing a 4.4/7. The WB averaged 3.3/5 and UPN 2.6/4.

The first half of the “24” finale, 6.8/11, helped FOX win the 8 p.m. hour. CBS finished second with back-to-back episodes of “Still Standing,” which posted a 5.8/9. “Fear Factor,” 5.2/9, took third for NBC, topping “EM: Home Edition: How’d They Do That?” on ABC. The season finale of “7th Heaven” scored a 3.5/6 for The WB, ahead of UPN’s “One on One” and “Cuts.”

The season finale of CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” got a 9.0/14 at 9 p.m., although a repeat of the show at 9:30 actually did better, managing a 9.6/14. The conclusion of “24” scored a 7.6/11 for FOX, while NBC stayed in third with “Las Vegas.” “Nick & Jessica’s Tour of Duty,” got a paltry 4.5/7 on ABC. “Everwood” kept The WB in fifth, while “Girlfriends” and “Half and Half” managed a 2.8/4 for UPN.

At 10 p.m., “CSI: Miami” finished its season with a 13.2/21. “Medium” posted a 8.0/13 for NBC, and “Nick & Jessica” continued to trail at 4.2/7 for ABC.
