The Dawn of the Dead remake saw modest success at the box office, and because of that, Millennium Films, Taurus Entertainment and Emmett/Furla Films are doing a remake of George Romero’s Day of the Dead, with Millennium Films financing and distributing the film.
The 1985 classic is part of Romero’s zombie trilogy (Until Land of the Dead this summer) and told the story of a group of scientists and military personnel hiding out in an underground bunker after zombies take over the world.
