Directors Reach Agreement on Indy 4 Script

Archive

Very good news for those awaiting the long-talked about but little movement on fourth Indiana Jones movie; creators’ Steven Spielberg and George Lucas have finally given the script a big thumbs up.

Lucas asked screenwriter Jeff Nathanson to his compound to go through the draft. He apparently liked what he saw, as did Spielberg, who worked with the writer on both The Terminal and Catch Me If You Can.

Both directors hope to have the fourth Indy filming in early 2006. Spielberg definitely has his hands full, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fits this in. Also, it should be noted that they are still waiting for Harrison Ford to aprove the script before officially planning on going further.

Also of note, the script is said to feature a younger new sidekick for the aged Doctor Jones.
