[TNA] News and Notes

TNA and WGN are still currently talking. It seems as if it is Dixie Carter’s decision to decide on a contract. A lot of the workers and office staff are upset that they have been kept in the dark with the on going negotiations.

Shane Douglas was interview in the latest column by Alex Marvez. He discussed Hardcore Homecoming and his duties in TNA. Talking about getting in the ring at Hardcore Homecoming, Douglas said the following: “I’m still capable of going out and performing, but through the years I’ve spoken very vehemently about guys outliving their usefulness in the ring. I can go in the ring and tell a good story, but I think the fans want the athleticism that goes along with that. In TNA, if I wrestle, I’m able to help one person. As a road agent and head of talent relations, I can help an entire crew.”

TNA is planning to use Simon Diamond and Jim Mitchell sometime down the line. Low Ki was another name brought up, but there wasn’t enough internal support to the idea of brining him back.
