Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com as well as other wrestling Web sites have been reporting that Rob Van Dam announced on last night’s LAW radio show that Joey Styles will be in the announce booth at ECW’s One Night Stand pay per view. This news comes after several denials from Styles that he would ever work with WWE.
This news was likely not supposed to be leaked, and we’ll have news on the McMahons’ reaction should any come to light. Styles is expected to announce the shows along with Tazz on color, according to the Torch, but Wrestling Observer is reporting it will be Styles and Foley.
The Dudley Boyz and Tommy Dreamer were a part of Smackdown house shows over the weekend, with Carlito having Bubba and D-Von as special ECW guests, and Teddy Long forcing Carlito and Matt Morgan into tag team matches against the Dudleyz with Tommy Dreamer as the ref.
