According to the Wrestling Observer Web site, many fans had trouble getting the ECW PPV from WWE.com, due to Web traffic issues. WWE will be giving some people their money back.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com is reporting that Tommy Dreamer came back out after the show was over and cried in the ring, with the crowd chanting “Thank you Tommy.” He kissed the ECW logo, the Dudz came out and everyone hugged.
Also according to Johnson, JBL stiffed Blue Meanie, opening up his cuts from Friday’s Hardcore Homecoming show, and the WWE wrestlers interacted with the fans while the cameras were not on them.
TNA wrestler Trinity was backstage with Kid Kash, Elektra was in the front row, as was Chris Chetti and CW Anderson.
The ECW show report on WWE.com includes most of the shoot comments from RVD and Heyman, including RVD talking smack to JBL and Heyman uttering “two words: Matt Freakin’ Hardy.” That report can be found here.
