TNAWrestling.Com has announced that Amazing Red, Alex Shelly, Shocker, and Shark Boy will all return at Slammiverary on June 19th. TNA re-signed Amazing Red and he will be in action on the PPV. Amazing Red’s opponent may be Alex Shelly, who TNA is bringing back after being last seen with the company in late 2004.
Shocker will also make his return to TNA at Slammiversary in a match that will be announced later this week. TNA also detialed the lawsuit between Shark Boy and Disney. In the new movie, “Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl”, the costuming on Sharkboy does not relate to that of TNA’s Shark Boy. Shark Boy does have exclusive rights to the name and he will make a statement on TNAWrestling.Com later this week.
TNA is advertising Raven to appear at Slammiversary despite “quitting” the company on the May 20th edition of Impact. For storyline purposes, TNA will beef up security at the PPV to prevent Raven from entering the arena.
The 30-minute pre-show prior to Slammiversary will feature two matches, that will be announced later this week. Along with those matches will be Jeremy Borash and Shane Douglas.
TNA will tape Impact on Tuesday, June 21 following the PPV. TNA is still obligated to provide episodes for their international audience. The taping is not an indication of a new TV deal for the company.
